This application is a satellite tracking software for satellite amateur.

SilvioItaly built the SatOrbit app as a Free app (The Service).

This Service is provided by SilvioItaly at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform users of SatOrbit regarding the policy about Personal Information

 

What information does the Application obtain and how is it used?

This service in order to provide more better experiences for users, need:

• Location on the ground (GPS Location, Network Location or a Manual Location).
  SatOrbit ask you for the permission then this information are saved on the device and used for pass calculation and prediction of satellites pass over the provided location

• Space-Track.org account (optional)
  If you want to use the Orbital Elements from Space-Track you have to do a login with a valid account in order to download the orbital data.
  In this scenario the Users Name you provide is stored on the device in order to facilitate the access next time you need to login.
  The users password are not stored in any way.

 

Do third parties see and/or have access to information obtained by the Application?

The informations above are not shared with anyone, remain on the device until the users choose to uninstall the Application.

This Service does not use these “cookies”. However, the app may use third party code and libraries that use “cookies” to collect information and improve their services (i.e., Satellite info via NASA Space Science Data Coordinated Archive). This Service doesn’t use Personal Information except the data mentioned above.

All Orbital download services are performed in HTTPS mode making the connection more secure.

All the read/write operation on the device are limited to read and write to the Application Data Base and Shared Preferences in order to provide the users with all the features they need.
